Fast Track Injury Pathway

If you recently sustained an injury and need medical attention, see us first for an evaluation. It is always important to seek immediate medical attention for athletic injuries.
For example, an ankle sprain may just need a few days off, but there may be an underlying fracture that would require a different rehab pathway.
We have a network of M.D.’s that allows us to fast track athletic injuries and get athletes in for an appointment quickly.
Whether you have a PPO or an HMO plan with Kaiser, Hill Physicians, UC Davis and/or Sutter, we will have you see a M.D. in your medical group soon!

Fitness Assessment

Depending on your needs, our comprehensive fitness assessment allows you to maximize your potential. Whether your goals are to lose weight or to lose seconds from your race, we have the physical assessment for you.

  • Functional movement Screen, $80: This is a biomechanical screen used to evaluate your quality of movement and determine your strengths and limitations. Following the screen is a series of corrective exercises to improve on your limitations. This will allow you to get into positions for performance efficiency and greatly reduce your risk of injury.

  • Body Fat Testing, Skinfold, $25: 7-Point Skinfold testing is accurate and reliable as long as you use the same tester consistently. It is best used for seeing change over time. Essentially, if test and retest to determine change is more important than absolute number you, then this is a good option.

  • Body Fat Testing, Bod Pod, $50: The Bod Pod is very fast, effective, and reliable method for determining lean body mass and total body fat percentage. The Bod Pod is only available at specific times and days.

  • VO2 Max Testing, $125: Your VO2 Max is a measure of your cardiovascular capacity. Once you know this number, you can train at specific intensity zones to maximize your performance. A basic training program is provided as part of the test.

  • VO2 Max and Lactate, $225: Lactate Threshold gives you a measure of your efficiency. Combining this measure with VO2 gives you specific data to formulate a specific training plan. A basic training program is provided as part of the test.

We provide: athletic training services, fast track injury pathway, fitness assessment, and a concussion program. Also, San Francisco Giants team physician, Dr. Ken Akizuki, utilizes Results once a month to see his patients who reside in the Northern CA region.
