Results Physical Therapy and Trianing Center is the preferred sports medicine provider and training center for athletes throughout Northern California.
We serve as physical therapists for Total Body Fitness (TBF) Racing, the Sacramento RiverCats, Sacramento State University Athletics, the Sacramento Mountain Lions, several local high schools, and many other elite athletes. Our therapists and trainers have tremendous experience in sports injuries, specific exercise progressions, planning an athlete's return to competition, and preparing athletes for competition.
It is very unique to have a training center and sports medicine facility all under one roof, but that combination allows Results to address clients at any level. We make a focused effort on helping people achieve their potential, whether they are on crutches, training for a marathon, or competing professionally.
Our therapists specialize in specific sports and we have 2 therapists in triathlon specific events.
Tav Streit is an expert in running technique, running injuries, and endurance fitness training. Kathleen Fisher is an expert in swimming injuries. They are well suited for Triathlon and Multisport athletes.
We are experts in movement assessment and retraining. Through using biomechanics and video analysis, we can help you run faster, train smarter, and avoid injuries. The most overlooked element in training is injury treatment and prevention. If you are injured, your performance suffers. You're simply not your best. Results' has developed a method (using the Functional Movement Screen) to evaluate athletes and provide specific exercises to reduce the risk of injury.

This is biomechanical screen used to evaluate your quality of movement and determine your strengths and limitations. Following the screen is a series of corrective exercises to improve on your limitations.

7 Point Skinfold testing is accurate and reliable as long as you use the same tester consistently, but is best used for seeing change over time. Essentially, if test and retest to determine change is more important than absolute number you, then this is a good option.
